Home. Helen Photo masterMy name is Helen Cooper and I offer both Counselling and Art Therapy based in Earls Court to a range of clients and hope to achieve understanding and change through creativity. Also, if you are looking for a counsellor in easy reach of Hammersmith then the location of my room is ideal.

Psychotherapy in itself is a creative process and is a journey of self exploration that you embark on with your counsellor . As you become more aware of unhelpful patterns and experiences and the emotions they stir up, it helps us to find more constructive ways of living in the present and gain a stronger sense of inner well-being. As an art therapist and counsellor I can help you deal with painful emotions such as anxiety and depression.

Are you experiencing feelings that cause you pain? Such feelings include anger, stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness which are all normal at times, but sometimes these stresses and feelings can dominate our lives. If you have suffered a bereavement or have experienced a trauma then engaging with a counsellor can be truly beneficial.

I offer a warm and accepting psychotherapeutic relationship where emotions both positive and negative can be explored and understood.

Essentially, we are a social animal and only a new experience of relationship with other people can change our way of being in the world. I tend to view anxiety and depression as symptoms of a way of life that neglects our connections with one another. Within the therapeutic relationship we are able to discover new ways of relating and hence reduce the sadness and loneliness we might be experiencing in our lives.

I offer a one to one Counselling and Art Therapy sessions in Earls Court, the location of which covers West London.

As your counsellor , I will provide a safe, confidential space involving a therapeutic relationship where thoughts and feelings can be explored and worked through, this can lead to a greater sense of awareness and the freedom to make different choices.

The practice is in Earls Court very close to Earls Court tube station on the district line and piccadilly lines and is easily accessible from all parts of West and Central London including: Acton, Barnes, Barons Court, Brentford, Chelsea, Ealing, Earls Court, Fulham, Hammersmith, Hounslow, Kensington, Nottinghill Gate, Putney, Ravenscourt Park, Richmond, Stamford Brook, Wandsworth and Wimbledon.
